For several years now the estate has been one of the biggest tourist attractions in the country, which was confirmed by the title of Historical Monument awarded to it and by its place on the Industrial Monuments Route and on the European Route of Industrial Heritage. But it is best confirmed by the visitors and tourists walking around Nikisz – from the region, from all over Poland, from Europe and from the most distant corners of the world. The place attracts above all with its authenticity, expressed not only in the exceptional architecture, unchanged since the estate was built, but also in the authenticity of everyday life here. That is why it matters so much to us that visitors to Nikiszowiec can get to know it from the perspective of those who know the estate best – its residents.

That is how the idea of a network of local guides from Nikiszowiec was born. It is made up of exceptional people for whom the estate is something more than just a place to live. Some have lived here since they were born. Others decided to move here in their adult life. Still others are connected with it through work, sometimes spending more time here than at home. They all have one thing in common – they love talking about this estate. And every story is different, because it is their own personal story. Besides their love of the place and their passion for sharing Nikiszowiec, they also have the knowledge and the right preparation.
